recent pictures of the kids
Here are a few recent pictures of the kids. I took these for a father's day gift and am finally posting them. I know I'm not so good at this blogging thing. It's been almost 6 months since the last post....sorry! The 24 hour day is just not enough to fit everything in. Anyway, enjoy the pics of the kids...they are growing like weeds.

Merrie Monarch Hula Festival 2008
Pete and I took a fast trip to Hilo, Hawaii the beginning of April. My cousin and his Hula Halau - "Ke Kai o Kahiki" competed in the Merrie Monarch Hula Festival. They were amazing! We stayed in a beautiful house in Hilo with my aunty, 2 uncles, my cousin brandy and her kids. We had a great time. I got to eat some great Hawaiian food, watched magnificent hula dancers, and enjoyed just being with my family.
Well finally found a few minutes to post on the blog. It's been over a month since posting. I'll try and be alot better at this. The month of March came and went, it was definetly full. I went to the big apple with my friend Kim for my 39th birthday. We had a blast! We stayed at the Westin times square, got spa treatments, ate out, stayed out late, slept in and saw 4 broadway plays. Wicked by far was the best! We also saw Young Frankenstien, Mamma Mia and Legally Blonde. If we could of got tickets to go see Wicked again... we would of, it was fantastic! We had tea at the Plaza Hotel, shopped 5th avenue, went to the top of Rockefeller center, ate lunch in China town, visited the world trade center cite, saw the temple and rode the subway. What a great week! I can't wait to go back. The NYC was all I hoped it would be and more!

Zach is 3 today!
Zachary is our leap year baby. Yes, he only gets his real birthday once every 4 years. so, this year was his 3rd birthday. Happy Birthday my boy! We didn't really celebrate today because Zach came home from school and left in 15 minutes to go on an overnight campout. We celebrated on his birthday on Tuesday night by going to dinner at durrants with papa and grandma King. Then we went to see Kenny G in concert at the Dodge Theater. It was fantastic! Zachary plays both the alto and saprano saxophones. He can read notes, but most of the time he plays by ear. He definetly has been blessed with a gift to be able to play by ear. We all throughly enjoyed the dinner and the concert.
